Create your server
Open SquidServers. The app checks your Java and lets you pick the version you want. Choose Vanilla for a simple start, Paper for plugins, or Modpack for packs. Create a new world or import one you already have.
Pick a save folder and memory
Name your server, choose a save folder, and use the Memory Allocation slider to pick RAM. Start with 2 to 3 GB for 1 to 5 vanilla players. Use 4 GB for 6 to 10, and add 2 to 4 GB for modpacks.
Launch and invite
Review your settings and click Launch Server. Share the join link with friends. You can host and play on the same machine. Keep the server window open while people play.
